About the job
RTE's Development and Engineering Department is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the French electrical network's infrastructure. We modernize the network by integrating technological advancements and future needs while considering environmental and societal challenges. Our team also manages digital infrastructures and integrates innovative solutions to optimize the reliability and performance of the network.
As an apprentice supporting the national management of RTE's relations with external parties and their safety near electrical installations (high voltage substations and lines), you will be integrated into the environmental group, which is responsible for defining doctrines and guiding regional representatives on safety issues around RTE's installations (compliance with anti-damage regulations and awareness-raising actions for nearby residents engaged in activities near the installations such as hunting, fishing, construction, outdoor sports, etc.).
This apprenticeship will provide a valuable opportunity to understand the challenges related to the integration, acceptability, and safety around electrical installations while accounting for societal and environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating regional representatives on crucial themes, such as the safety of individuals near electrical installations (residents, hunting/fishing associations, construction workers, etc.), urban planning (responding to building permits), and broader relationships with residents near electrical installations (electric and magnetic fields, noise from installations, construction regulations...);
- Contribute to monitoring and following the evolution of regulations (environmental code, anti-damage regulations, labor code) and implementing necessary deployment actions;
- Participate in drafting and updating organizational notes, creating communication materials, and capitalizing on best practices.
- Support regional teams in implementing a new application (information system) for relations with external parties and assist them in mastering the tool.
