Your mission with us: As patient portals and cloud systems in healthcare continue to grow, maintaining control is essential!
Through our API management platform and modern identity provider, these systems are securely connected, often surpassing manufacturer standards. Our portals and cloud systems include the RBK Patient Portal, the RBK Telemedicine Portal, connections to public health cloud systems like MEDI:CUS in Baden-Württemberg, and the Virtual Hospital in North Rhine-Westphalia. Ensuring their secure operation is where you come into play.
What you can expect:
- IT Operations – Our IT operations adhere to the international ITIL standard. You will be the 2nd level support for the portals and cloud systems, investigating issues and usually resolving them. If things get particularly challenging, you will involve 3rd level support from the manufacturer. You will coordinate application releases and security patches with the relevant departments (testing, approval, go-live). You will establish effective monitoring to ideally detect issues before users do and take corrective action. You can also handle simple administrative tasks yourself.
- User Management – Connecting portals and managing user access through our central identity provider or other directory services. You will maintain users, rights, and roles and collaborate with our identity management expert and solution architects for optimal and secure portal integration.
- Further Development and Training with Departments – You can undertake minor enhancements to the portals and platforms independently. Together with key users in the departments, you will train users in the clinic, ensuring they are familiar with the applications and can operate them optimally. This makes you a representative of IT throughout the hospital.
- Cloud Service Management – For cloud systems that we primarily operate ourselves, but which may also be managed by manufacturers, you will take on the role of service manager (coordinating responsibilities and SLAs, mediating between departments and providers, etc.). We take this very seriously: Cloud systems and managed services do not mean a lack of attention on our part.
