ABOUT THE TEAM
The Air Dominance and Strike Aerodynamics Engineering Team is tasked with pioneering aerodynamic design and analysis for Group 5 hypersonic air vehicles and missile platforms. Our engineers manage the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept design to meticulous flight test planning, execution, and analysis, ensuring the creation of high-performance, resilient, and scalable systems that excel in complex and contested environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct aerodynamic design for unmanned air vehicles and missiles throughout conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
- Perform aerodynamic analysis utilizing a range of methods, including low and high-order techniques, while developing and enhancing analytical tools as necessary.
- Engage in stability and control analysis.
- Optimize trajectories for performance evaluation, vehicle conceptual trades, and sensitivity analysis.
- Execute aerothermodynamic analysis for flight vehicles operating in high-speed environments.
- Model and simulate aircraft performance.
- Generate aerodynamic load data.
- Plan, execute, and analyze wind tunnel tests.
- Plan, execute, and analyze flight tests.
