Adviser Growth and Development Leader
Location: Whiteley - PO15
Salary: Dependent on Experience
The core responsibility of this role is to spearhead the Financial Adviser community at Eight Financial Advice. The focus will be on nurturing, empowering, and retaining highly effective Advisers who possess the necessary skills, insights, and support to provide outstanding client outcomes, enhance revenue per adviser, and drive growth— all aligned with the unique culture and ethos of Eight.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection: Collaborate with the business to attract and recruit future advisers, crafting adviser propositions that draw in the right talent to join Eight.
Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless transition for new advisers by formulating 90-day plans, engaging key stakeholders, and fostering confidence and connections throughout Eight and SJP. Conduct skills gap analysis aligned with business expectations.
Development: Assist advisers in enhancing their capabilities, confidence, and performance through tailored development plans, and assessing their readiness, product knowledge, and regulatory competencies. You will also lead the connection between advisers and operations, ensuring they effectively utilize in-house tools, systems, and processes for streamlined business processing.
Talent Retention: Champion long-term adviser success, motivation, and engagement by ensuring advisers are aligned with the 'one team, one dream' vision at Eight. This includes regular interaction with business operations and leadership to assess productivity and key performance indicators, providing support and motivation through recognition and constructive feedback.
Supporting Adviser and Business Growth: Help advisers expand their influence and capabilities in line with broader business growth objectives. Facilitate peer group interactions, share learning opportunities, and introduce product diversification strategies. Promote best practices through model office engagement and enhance technical knowledge to ensure compliant and confident advice.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Growth and Development, SJP, and across the industry to support the overall growth of the adviser community.
