Your Role as Advertising Marketing Science Lead
We are seeking a dynamic leader in Advertising Marketing Science to establish and scale our advertiser-facing reporting, measurement, and attribution credibility. You will leverage your measurement expertise and cross-functional leadership skills to shape how advertisers perceive performance on OpenAI and ensure our reporting aligns with their existing measurement frameworks, including MTA, incrementality/lift testing, and MMM/geo experimentation.
Initially, this position will involve hands-on contributions as you build the methodological foundations of OpenAI’s advertising measurement system. As the role evolves, you will define the strategic vision, operational model, and team structure necessary to scale this function globally in response to growing advertiser adoption.

Key Responsibilities:
Define OpenAI’s advertiser measurement strategy, ensuring our reporting aligns with diverse attribution methodologies (MTA, incrementality/lift testing, MMM, geo experimentation) and partner measurement frameworks.
Establish the foundational structure of OpenAI’s Marketing Science function, initially leading efforts as an individual contributor while designing the long-term team structure, operational model, and measurement programs.
Facilitate advertiser-facing measurement discussions, representing OpenAI in executive briefings and industry conversations while instilling confidence in our methodologies and reporting.
