The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role within our campus admissions team, facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for new students by ensuring accurate enrollment data entry, tracking essential documents, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This entry-level, on-site position is perfect for individuals who possess strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in a dynamic, student-focused environment. Additionally, the Admissions Coordinator will provide essential front desk support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input new student enrollments and status updates into the Student Information and Client Management Systems.
- Oversee and maintain all enrollment documents (e.g., background checks, immunizations, proof of graduation, valid IDs) to ensure completeness and timeliness of student files.
- Proactively assist students in the completion and submission of necessary documents.
- Act as the primary contact for support related to enrollment systems (e.g., Complio, Enrollment Portal).
- Ensure all enrollment documents comply with admissions and regulatory standards.
- Administer entrance assessments in accordance with established protocols, and report on requirements status and test outcomes.
- Support Admissions with campus tours and visits from prospective students.
- Provide front desk coverage: welcome students/visitors, answer phone calls, and appropriately direct inquiries.
- Maintain a professional and inviting reception area.
- Handle front desk responsibilities including mail, photocopying, faxing, and filing.
- Assist with campus events such as orientations, graduations, and student engagement activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Success Metrics: Achieve or surpass metrics for processing enrollment documents. Collaborate effectively with Financial Aid, Registrars, and Academics to enhance onboarding. Fully comply with FERPA and Unitek’s admissions and compliance policies.
