The Role
Halcyon is seeking a dynamic SLED Account Executive to take ownership of the North Central territory (IL, WI, MN, IA, NE, ND, SD). This position is designed for a proactive individual who excels at building a sales pipeline, managing comprehensive sales cycles, and securing new state, local government, and educational accounts. You will work in close partnership with Regional Sales leadership, Sales Engineers, and the Partner/Channel team.
What You’ll Do
Drive all new SLED business initiatives across the North Central area.
Engage in prospecting, pipeline development, and full sales cycle management.
Utilize Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators (SIs), and resellers to create and capitalize on opportunities.
Collaborate with Sales Engineers to ensure technical validation and client satisfaction.
Maintain precise forecasting and pipeline reporting through Salesforce.
Contribute to regional sales strategy and territory planning efforts.
What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated success in SLED sales (state, local, and education sectors).
A hunter mentality with proven experience in prospecting and acquiring new logos.
Strong executive presence and effective communication skills.
