The Sales Account Director holds a senior-level role with the following key responsibilities:
Opportunity Management
Lead the charge in driving strategic business growth and profitability through effective account management and sales strategies. You will oversee strategic and enterprise accounts to meet targets aligned with Version 1’s ambitious growth plans.
Customer Management
Foster and expand Version 1’s relationships with a diverse portfolio of accounts. Build and maintain robust client relationships at all levels, ensure the protection of ongoing revenue, identify new business growth opportunities, and lead a multidisciplinary team of sales, delivery, and technical professionals to meet or exceed sales goals.
Contract Management
You will be accountable for the financial performance metrics of your portfolio (Revenue, TCV, IYR, and Profit) as well as customer advocacy metrics (NPS, CSAT). Your role will be pivotal in ensuring accounts are managed in accordance with contract requirements to maximize returns for Version 1, in collaboration with the delivery and commercial teams.
The objectives for the Sales Account Director include:
- Leading the contracted relationship: Collaborate closely with the Portfolio Director to ensure that contracts awarded to Version 1 are executed effectively, encompassing client engagement, commercials, contracting, delivery practice involvement, and project initiation.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a minimum customer satisfaction score (CSAT) in alignment with company and account objectives. The account director will also sponsor Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies: You will be responsible for crafting and executing an account plan that outlines growth strategies and activities that align with both Version 1 and customer goals.
- Building and maintaining client relationships: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, ensuring satisfaction with services provided, and addressing issues to uphold and strengthen customer trust.
- Leading the account sales team: Manage the performance of the multidisciplinary teams you lead, ensuring success.
