About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and competitive Academic Counselor who thrives in a dynamic sales environment. In this role, you will guide candidates in making informed academic decisions, providing personalized counseling to prospective students, assessing their needs and aspirations, and offering support throughout the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized academic and career guidance to prospective candidates, helping them identify their interests, strengths, and goals to recommend suitable courses and programs. Address inquiries about course details, eligibility, admission procedures, fees, and scholarships.
- Provide insights on program features, pedagogy, and curriculum while addressing questions related to course selection and career planning.
- Engage and counsel working professionals regarding available programs.
- Build a sales pipeline through cold calling and managing inbound inquiries, converting leads into admissions.
- Achieve monthly sales targets by closing sales opportunities and maintaining comprehensive records of all counseling interactions in the CRM.
- Coordinate efficiently for application handling and maintain communication with the parents of student applicants.
- Conduct follow-ups for enrollment confirmations and work collaboratively with the admissions team to meet enrollment goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive courses, and emerging career opportunities, providing feedback to marketing and academic teams based on student interactions.
