Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent
- Possess a GED or High School Diploma
- Hold a valid Teaching Certification for tutoring
Essential Skills:
- Experience engaging with school-aged children
- Strong team collaboration abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Lead and instruct students in all scheduled activities.
- Prepare materials and lessons before student arrival and manage storage post-activity.
- Guide children in adhering to program behavior standards using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions as required.
- Stay informed of all campus emergency and medical response procedures.
- Exhibit professionalism at all times.
