We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Control team. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and recording a diverse range of credit control transactions, managing cash collections, and closely monitoring portfolio performance. You will oversee your own portfolio of brokers, which includes sending statements, preparing reconciliations, and collaborating with brokers and their finance departments. Your focus will be on producing accurate reports in a timely manner, ensuring exceptional customer service, and thriving in a fast-paced work environment. You will provide crucial support to the Credit Control teams across London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
- Maintain accurate records of all actions and transactions related to premium collections using the Online Aged Debt System (CreditSee).
- Execute daily operations to collect and resolve outstanding premiums effectively.
- Engage with brokers to follow up on outstanding premiums, adhering to company procedures while achieving Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual KPIs.
- Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the collection process.
- Manage the Credit Control Mailbox, responding promptly to internal and external inquiries.
- Analyze and identify discrepancies in recorded premium transactions, collaborating with internal Underwriting Assistants to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in regular meetings with Underwriting Assistants to review Gap and Escalation Reports, taking necessary actions for each item.
- Work closely with the Cash Allocation team to identify cash receipts for Non-Bureau items.
- Assist with cash postings by resolving unallocated cash issues and providing feedback on mis-posting causes.
- Contribute to various monthly reports and ad hoc analyses.
