Act as the primary IT support contact for the San Francisco office and serve as a global escalation point for complex or high-impact issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to macOS devices, SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, etc.), networking, A/V systems, and internal tools. Develop and document efficient, repeatable support workflows aimed at enhancing the employee experience and minimizing manual efforts. Create lightweight tools and automations (e.g., Python scripts, Jira automations) to boost IT team efficiency and service quality. Leverage modern AI tools to enhance service quality, speed, and accuracy.

About this role

Join Faire as an IT Support Engineer within our IT Operations team in San Francisco. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-quality technical support to our employees while also contributing to the scaling and streamlining of IT services through automation, thorough documentation, and process enhancements.

This role goes beyond traditional support responsibilities. While you will engage in hands-on troubleshooting and equipment provisioning, we are looking for someone with an engineering mindset — a curious, proactive individual focused on making a significant impact. You will help design and optimize support workflows, identify and resolve recurring issues, and collaborate closely with our IT Engineering team to enhance our internal tools.
