The IT Service Team
The IT Service Team at Celonis supports a global workforce, ensuring seamless IT operations. As an IT Service Engineer based in Bangalore, this role involves troubleshooting, resolving, or escalating IT issues for colleagues around the world. The team values hands-on experience in both macOS and Windows environments and thrives in an international, shift-based support model.
What You Will Do
- Act as the main contact for IT support requests from employees, resolving issues or escalating tickets when needed.
- Provide hands-on support for macOS and Windows systems, handling hardware, software, and network problems.
- Work closely with the global IT Service Team to address technical issues via phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals, including desktops, laptops (macOS and Windows), network printers, and video conferencing systems (Google Meet and Microsoft Teams).
- Support mobile devices such as smartphones using mobile device management platforms like Intune and Kandji.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand, document, and resolve IT challenges.
- Carry out basic repairs and equipment replacements as required.
- Create and update documentation and user guides for common issues to improve IT service processes.
- Participate in a shift-based support schedule to provide coverage across global time zones.
