The Role
We are seeking a proactive IT Operations Manager to be the primary owner and contact for all internal IT operations at Nevis. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring a secure, compliant, scalable, and reliable IT environment that supports both our business and engineering teams.
You will oversee all aspects of IT operations, including identity and access management, device and vendor management, onboarding/off-boarding, and security compliance processes (SOC), collaborating closely with Engineering, Security, and People teams.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for IT operations across Nevis.
- Manage Google Workspace (GSuite) administration, focusing on user lifecycle, access controls, and security configurations.
- Oversee user access and identity management across all internal systems, enforcing least-privilege access principles.
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding and off-boarding processes, working collaboratively with People and Engineering teams.
- Oversee endpoint and mobile device management (MDM) for laptops and mobile devices, ensuring adherence to security standards and effective lifecycle management.
- Execute IT security policies and compliance requirements, including SOC (SOC 2) controls.
- Manage compliance tools such as Vanta, overseeing evidence collection, control monitoring, and audit preparation.
- Act as the central IT partner for the Engineering team, balancing tooling and access needs with security and compliance requirements.
- Manage relationships with IT and security vendors, including selection, renewals, licensing, and performance management.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Handle IT incident management, troubleshooting, and escalations to minimize business disruption.
