Position Overview

As an IT Engineer at Gecko, you will serve as a vital technical partner, delivering enterprise infrastructure and user technology services throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass the design, implementation, and management of software and hardware technologies that enable our team to rapidly deliver transformative products and services to our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact for IT support, building relationships with stakeholders while driving automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding deskside and remote support to Gecko employees.

  • Maintain all standard technology services, including audiovisual and meeting room technology.

  • Proactively manage IT support requests and problem tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution, while documenting incidents in Jira for accurate tracking.

  • Handle escalations and coordinate with third-party vendors to guarantee high-quality operational services.

  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account management and asset tracking.

  • Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software solutions to end-users.

  • Manage and maintain software infrastructure such as Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.

  • Contribute to the Service Desk knowledge base and maintain documentation.

  • Support IT compliance activities, ensuring adherence to global standards while educating colleagues on IT services, policies, and security best practices.

  • Be available for occasional out-of-hours support as needed.

  • Assist in the technical setup of new offices, which may require travel.

  • Develop automation solutions to streamline processes.
