About the job
Arena Investors, LP is a premier global investment management firm dedicated to delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns through a fundamentals-driven, asset-oriented investment and financing strategy across the entire credit spectrum. We focus on areas where traditional sources of capital are limited.
Our investment team excels in the origination and acquisition of asset-oriented investments across a diverse range of commercial and consumer asset classes, including private direct corporate lending and commercial real estate bridge lending. We specialize in off-the-run, stressed, distressed, illiquid, and unique special situation transactions.
Arena tailors investment structures to fit the specific needs of each opportunity. We are seeking dynamic and talented recent university graduates to join our newly launched two-year Analyst Program. This program offers a unique chance to enter a rapidly expanding alternative credit investment firm straight out of undergraduate studies, without the customary prerequisite of 1-2 years in investment banking.
As an Analyst, you will play a vital role in deploying capital across our fundamental-based investment strategies, which span corporate private credit, real estate, structured products, natural resources, and liquid markets. Through hands-on experience and regular training sessions, you will gain insights into corporate finance, security analysis, credit analysis, financial modeling, business model structuring, and fixed income and equity securities.
In addition to finance and security analysis, you will acquire essential legal knowledge relevant to buy-side investing and develop critical soft skills necessary for a successful career in the financial sector.
Each analyst will operate as a generalist, collaborating with investment team members on industry and company due diligence, financial modeling, investment memorandum preparation, and various ad-hoc projects. Ideal candidates will exhibit a strong interest in finance and investing, thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and demonstrate exceptional organization, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
