About the job
Bridg is a leading software provider catering to governmental organizations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
At JustOne, the justice department under Bridg, we are excited to offer internship opportunities.
This internship focuses on the development of a new digital portal for citizens.
Project Overview
The objective is to create a new digital portal for citizens within the Just-on-web context, enabling citizens to securely access their legal cases after authentication. This project also includes designing and implementing a generic, robust microservices backend architecture that can be utilized by various case management systems within the Federal Public Service Justice, paving the way for mobile applications with notifications.
Functional Requirements
The application must support the following functionalities:
Secure Authentication:
Citizens must be able to log into the portal securely via itsme®/MyGov. The intern will explore integration options using eID or other federated identity solutions that support itsme®/MyGov.
Overview of Legal Cases:
Upon logging in, citizens will view a clear overview of all cases they need to attend. The details for each case will include date, time, court, room, and type of case.
Data must be sourced from all relevant courts within the Belgian Justice system, necessitating backend APIs to aggregate information from various internal systems.
Search and Filter Functionality:
Citizens should be able to search or filter by case number, court type, or time period.
Generic Backend Architecture:
Develop a robust microservices backend capable of handling diverse case management requirements.
