Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation preferred.• At least 5-7 years of tax experience, ideally with a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent experience in the tax department of a large multinational corporation.• Strong understanding of U. S. international tax principles.• Proficient in preparing international components of a U. S. Tax Return for a large multinational corporation.• Familiarity with ASC740 (FAS109), FIN48, and accounting principles.• Detail-oriented, organized thinker with strong analytical and computer skills.• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with various levels of personnel across functions.

About the job

The role of the International Tax Manager is pivotal within the Income Tax division of our Tax Department. This position is tasked with overseeing the preparation of U. S. international income tax compliance. The manager will report directly to the International Tax Senior Manager and engage significantly with various members of the Tax team and the finance organization. Additionally, the India Tax Office will operate under the guidance of the International Tax Manager, handling preparation, analysis, and initial review assignments. A substantial portion of compliance work will be executed by the India Tax office located in Manesar, India, making remote management of global teams a crucial skill.

Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate U. S. tax implications for international transactions necessary for U. S. GAAP tax provisions and federal income tax compliance, which includes Foreign Tax Credit, Subpart F, Earnings & Profits, foreign tax pools, and outside basis in foreign subsidiaries.
• Monitor and reconcile deferred tax balances associated with international calculations included in the U. S. GAAP tax provision.
• Prepare related U. S. international tax compliance forms required for the federal income tax return.
• Assist in managing U. S. tax implications of international income tax positions taken by the company.
• Collaborate with other Tax team members to fulfill these responsibilities.
• Supervise the India Tax Team, providing technical instruction, oversight, and support.
• Maintain current knowledge of income tax laws relevant to international issues and ensure proper application in the company's tax compliance processes.
• Support special projects as necessary, which may include tax research, analysis of income tax consequences of transactions, acquisitions, and divestitures, as well as projects related to other business initiatives.
• Work collaboratively across the business, finance organization, and global tax team at Keysight.
