Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation preferred.• 5-7 years of tax experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm or in a tax department of a large multinational corporation.• Profound knowledge of US international tax principles.• Experience in preparing international components of a US Tax Return for a large multinational corporation.• Familiarity with ASC740 (FAS109), FIN48, and relevant accounting principles.• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of analytical thinking with strong accounting and computer skills.• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels and across functions.• High accuracy and a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Strong integrity and adherence to business controls and practices.• Team-oriented mindset.

About the job

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled International Tax Manager at dstaff, based in Santa Rosa. This pivotal role reports to the International Tax Senior Manager and involves extensive collaboration with the Tax and Finance teams. You will play a key role in managing US tax implications of international transactions and ensuring compliance with federal income tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct US tax calculations for international transactions necessary for US GAAP tax provisions and federal income tax compliance, including Foreign Tax Credit, Subpart F, Earnings & Profits, foreign tax pools, and outside basis in foreign subsidiaries.
• Monitor and reconcile deferred tax balances related to international calculations included in the US GAAP tax provision.
• Prepare US international tax compliance forms for inclusion in the federal income tax return.
• Assist in managing US tax implications of international income tax positions taken by the company.
• Collaborate with the Tax team to fulfill these responsibilities effectively.
• Supervise the India Tax Team, providing technical instruction, oversight, and guidance.
• Stay updated on current income tax laws pertaining to international issues and ensure their proper application in compliance processes.
• Contribute to special projects, including tax research and analysis of the tax consequences of transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business initiatives.
• Engage with various departments, the finance organization, and the global tax team at Keysight.
