Ideal Candidate Profile:Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related discipline. Solid understanding of digital signal processing and machine learning, especially in neural network architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers). Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow. Hands-on experience with time-series analysis, feature extraction, or classification tasks. Familiarity with programming in a Linux environment.

Huawei Canada is excited to announce an immediate opening for an 8-month internship position as an Associate Researcher in Signal Processing.

Our team is composed predominantly of experienced graduate engineers and computer scientists who bring a wealth of experience, from fresh ideas to decades of industry knowledge. We are driven by a shared passion for developing cutting-edge wireless solutions that make a difference.

Position Overview:

  • Create and execute algorithms for neural signal analysis, including feature extraction and classification tasks.

  • Design, train, and assess deep learning models geared towards neural signal interpretation and cognitive state detection.

  • Conduct laboratory experiments and programming tasks, including robotic controls and associated peripherals.
