Position Overview:

PingWind is on the lookout for a talented and skilled Intermediate Software Developer who will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. This position will be guided by senior developers and technical leads, requiring a firm grasp of programming skills, adherence to software development best practices, and the ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments within cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will build on their foundational experience, taking on increasingly complex projects while progressing towards a senior-level role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications in accordance with specifications.
• Implement new features and enhancements aligned with project requirements.
• Ensure applications are efficient, maintainable, and uphold quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver effective software solutions.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work alongside system engineers and DevOps teams on integration tasks.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in peer code reviews to guarantee quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Exhibit proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Possess experience with software frameworks and libraries including . NET, Angular, React, or Spring Boot.
• Have knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs.
• Be familiar with Git and version control systems.
• Understand Agile development methodologies.
• Basic experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• DoD 8140 Certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing, testing, and deploying software applications.
