As an Intermediate Electrical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of electrical systems across various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. This position involves creating and revising design drawings, specifications, and documentation, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate electrical solutions into comprehensive project designs.
Working under the mentorship of senior designers and engineers, you will assist in design reviews, contributing to the precision and quality of all deliverables. Your participation in project meetings will facilitate effective communication with team members and enable you to address design challenges proactively.
Your responsibilities will also include adhering to departmental design standards, processes, and templates, as well as participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The Intermediate Electrical Designer will ensure that all designs fulfill client requirements, meet project objectives, and comply with relevant codes, delivering dependable electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update electrical drawings and design packages for projects ranging from small to large scale, under the supervision of Electrical engineers.
Collaborate with other disciplines to guarantee that drawings are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project specifications.
Assist electrical engineers in equipment selection, layout development, and the creation of electrical design documentation.
Support the preparation of specifications, schedules, and technical documentation for electrical and control systems.
Engage in project and coordination meetings, offering drafting and design insights as needed.
Contribute to enhancing drafting standards, templates, and drawing quality within the Electrical team.
Experience with REVIT and Infrastructure Projects (Airports, Traffic Signals, or Highway Lighting) is essential.
