Dev. Pro is hiring an Intermediate Business Analyst for a remote role based in Bucharest. This position supports a large-scale Point-of-Sale (POS) platform used by major restaurant and retail brands worldwide. The role involves working alongside a team of over 20 Business Analysts and collaborating with cross-functional groups to define requirements and deliver new features across multiple system components.
Role overview
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of an enterprise-level POS platform serving international clients.
- Work with integrations, payment processing, and customer loyalty systems.
- Collaborate with a Business Analysis team that emphasizes mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Define, document, and manage business requirements for new features and system improvements.
- Gather and analyze requirements in partnership with stakeholders and senior team members.
- Prepare user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria to support the development process.
- Coordinate with development, QA, product teams, and other Business Analysts to ensure clarity of requirements.
- Participate in backlog refinement, requirements clarification, and team discussions.
- Update documentation and requirements as projects evolve.
- Follow established Business Analysis processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or software development.
- Solid understanding of Business Analysis principles, including requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience using Confluence and Jira.
- Ability to write clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with payment and loyalty systems, or system integrations.
- Knowledge of POS systems.
