DLR Group is actively seeking skilled Intermediate Architectural Designers to join our dynamic team in Texas. This role offers the flexibility of being based in one of the following cities:
- Austin
- Dallas
- Houston
Position Summary
As an integral part of our design team, you will oversee the daily design and technical development of diverse projects. Your role will involve coordinating all aspects of project documentation and delivery, collaborating closely with our integrated design team to ensure exceptional quality while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and work plans.
In partnership with the Project Manager, you will contribute to the financial management of projects, maintain the quality of project documents, prevent claims, and facilitate team collaboration and communication. You will also lead cross-functional design disciplines in creating innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and technically sound solutions to design challenges while upholding high standards of design excellence.
- Coordinate project drawings, specifications, and documentation with the project team to ensure alignment with design intent and budgetary constraints.
- Foster collaboration within project teams to generate unique design ideas and solutions.
- Implement advanced architectural concepts to projects, including complex assignments that demand innovative techniques.
- Integrate quality assurance and quality control procedures into project deliverables, addressing any issues that arise.
- Apply BIM standards in coordination with the Project Manager and BIM Manager.
- Offer technical guidance to junior staff, fostering their development and growth.
