RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee integration build flow and testing operations. Assess proposed designs for manufacturability and integration feasibility. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance manufacturing and automation processes. Critically evaluate each process, component, and operation in partnership with design/development engineers to ensure the highest quality and reliability of satellite hardware. Maintain comprehensive oversight of the production line, focusing on process consistency, quality assurance, tooling, capital equipment, ergonomics, and safety protocols. Facilitate daily vehicle integration and testing workflows. Analyze non-conformances to identify root causes and formulate actionable improvements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. At least 1 year of practical experience in fabrication, assembly, testing, or project management, gained through internships, academic projects, or professional roles. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, or structural systems. Familiarity with testing methods and setups.

INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER - STARLINK PROPULSION

As a key member of the Starlink propulsion team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and refining production processes for vital components within the propulsion system, which includes the Argon Hall Thruster, propellant feed systems, and satellite primary structure. Successful candidates will possess a solid understanding of design principles, schematics, operational protocols, manufacturing processes, testing methodologies, and flight checkouts. We seek engineers who demonstrate innovative thinking and are adept at navigating ambiguous requirements with minimal supervision. You will face diverse challenges across various work centers, frequently collaborating on inter-departmental projects aimed at achieving satellite mission success.
