About the job
Optasia is a cutting-edge B2B2X financial technology platform focused on providing scoring, financial decisioning, disbursement, and collection services. Our mission is to promote financial inclusion for everyone. We are reshaping the financial landscape in our unique way.
We are looking for passionate and energetic professionals who are results-oriented and possess a proactive mindset. Join our team of like-minded individuals dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in an exciting and dynamic environment.
As an Integration Support Engineer (ISE), you will assess operational changes proposed by external systems integrated with Optasia, evaluate their technical impact, and create appropriate rollout strategies. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all new or existing projects meet the technical criteria necessary to initiate the System Integration Testing phase, collaborating closely with a Solutions Architect to ensure architectural alignment.
This position is focused solely on integration readiness, excluding live production support, low-level solution design, software development, and the maintenance of test environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Assess change requests including platform upgrades, protocol migrations, and topology modifications by quantifying technical impacts and rollback risks, outlining mitigation strategies, and securing a consensus on rollout plans with both internal and external stakeholders. Engage with the Solutions Architect as needed for modifications to the solution design.
- Communicate configuration and development prerequisites that third-party systems must fulfill to achieve System Integration Testing readiness, collaborating directly with system owners.
- Conduct a targeted suite of HTTP-based API smoke tests (REST, SOAP, RPC, etc.), troubleshoot any anomalies, and escalate unresolved issues to third-party counterparts and the Solutions Architect.
- Develop Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT) test cases for execution by Optasia developers, guided by the Solutions Architect.
- Maintain transparency and traceability by updating Jira and Confluence records for change requests and SIT preparations.
- Foster continuous improvement by converting lessons learned into reusable templates, including change request assessments, SIT readiness checklists, and smoke test scripts, to standardize future integrations.
- Transition smoothly to an Associate Solution Architect role once you demonstrate proficiency in design and business insight.
