About Mach Industries
Established in 2022, Mach Industries is an innovative and rapidly expanding defense technology firm dedicated to creating next-generation autonomous defense platforms. Our mission centers on developing scalable and decentralized defense systems that bolster the strategic capabilities of the United States and its allies. With a dynamic workforce of around 220 employees, we embody the agility and ambition of a startup.
Our vision is to transform the future of warfare through advanced manufacturing techniques, rapid innovation, and an unwavering commitment to national security. We strive to address the challenges of modern warfare with effective systems designed to deter kinetic conflicts and safeguard global security.
The Role
We are in search of a skilled Integration Engineer to spearhead the integration of Software and Firmware components into Mach’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
The Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in advancing projects swiftly — monitoring milestones, managing deliverables, and merging the contributions of diverse teams into a unified final product. This position necessitates a hands-on approach, including debugging source code, troubleshooting complex technical issues, proposing innovative solutions, firmware reconfiguration, and testing prototype firmware within UAVs. The Integration Engineer will act as a key liaison among software, hardware, and systems teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
This role uniquely combines engineering expertise with program management skills — encompassing technical depth alongside the communication and planning abilities essential for driving cross-functional integration efforts across flight software, autonomy, ground control, and mission systems.
This multidisciplinary position is highly visible and ideal for an engineer who excels in both technical and leadership roles — someone who can delve into code when necessary while guiding teams toward coordinated technical milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to establish systems and subsystems requirements, interfaces, data flows, and how these requirements are executed by the Software and Firmware Engineering teams.
Define software/firmware features that support outlined requirements, set timelines for their development, and manage the implementation, validation, and release processes aligned with the company’s overall program milestones.
