Position Objective:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for designing work systems (plant layout, personnel distribution, and ergonomics) as well as managing time and motion within the value chain. This role also involves developing strategies to eliminate waste.
Main Specific Responsibilities:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Manage time and motion administration.
- Focus on ergonomics.
- Lead improvement projects.
Specific Tasks:
- Determine, document, and maintain the database of time by station.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to document and maintain work sequences in operations, delivery routes, supermarkets, and points of use.
- Optimize systems (reducing time, inventory, etc.).
- Improve financial indicators based on standardization and optimization.
- Support BPS audits, both internal and external.
- Assist in managing the Idea Management system.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing strategies.
- Assist various VS in executing improvement cycles.
- Help introduce new production lines, including ramp-up processes.
- Report on the status of mandatory BPS trainings.
- Define the annual training strategy for BPS topics.
- Keep the company's layout updated and assist in conceptualizing necessary changes (applying LLD concepts).
- Support product logistics based on FOL and Material Flow concepts.
- Provide support and consultancy to other departments.
- Focus on improvement projects.
- Documentation and coaching utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools.
