Qualifications and Skills:2-3 years of relevant experience in a Big-4 or second-tier consulting firm, or leading local or international businesses in a tax capacity. Sound understanding of general indirect tax principles and document management. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data integrity. Strong organizational skills and structured thinking, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong commercial acumen. Effective communication skills, with the ability to persuade and convey complex ideas clearly. Proactive self-starter with a strong drive for results.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient professional to enhance our International Reporting and Tax Compliance team at SKELAR in the position of Indirect Tax Manager. This role will see you as an integral part of a fast-moving team, overseeing indirect tax operations across various jurisdictions.

You will spearhead projects in new markets, refine intercompany structures for optimal indirect tax efficiency, and assist in automating and enhancing our compliance workflows. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of indirect tax filings across the Group, ensuring precision and adherence to reporting deadlines.

  • Manage indirect tax expansion into new regions (e.g., USA, Australia, Canada), including scoping, registrations, and process implementation.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance internal procedures to boost efficiency, automation, and accuracy in tax reporting.

  • Provide independent insights on indirect tax issues and offer actionable advice to stakeholders.

  • Track regulatory changes, evaluate their business impact, and ensure timely compliance.

  • Project future indirect tax liabilities, monitor cash flow implications, and guarantee timely and accurate payments.

  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering the growth and expertise of the indirect tax function.
