About the job

Uni Systems is seeking an Incident Response Security Engineer to join the UniQue Security Engineering Services division in Athens, Attica, Greece. This position plays a key part in protecting clients' critical assets by responding to security incidents and designing effective security solutions.

Role overview

As a member of the Incident Response Team, you will participate in a weekly on-call rotation. During these periods, the role involves triaging incidents, evaluating security threats, and taking direct action if the incident matches your expertise. When needed, you will escalate issues to specialized teams such as System/Cloud or Network engineers.

What you will do

  • Participate in a weekly standby rotation, managing incident triage and response or escalation as appropriate.
  • Design, implement, and operate cybersecurity solutions to protect client assets.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to analyze requirements and assess existing infrastructure, developing tailored security solutions.
  • Deploy security solutions, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, security policies, and procedures.
  • Estimate project effort and support presales activities by contributing to technical proposals.
  • Lead training sessions and knowledge transfer for clients and internal teams.

Collaboration

This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security solutions meet client needs and align with industry standards. Regular interaction with clients is expected, both for technical consultation and for delivering training.
