This position combines creative leadership with hands-on studio management, covering the full production cycle from concept to delivery. The role is central to shaping both the quality of video output and the client experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Creative Direction and Shoots
- Lead all in-house video projects, including podcasts, interviews, user-generated content, outdoor shoots, and product showcases.
- Turn client briefs into shot lists, mood boards, and visual storylines.
- Direct clients and talent on set to capture authentic, engaging content.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across projects.
- Studio Management
- Oversee daily studio operations, including setup, lighting, and equipment readiness.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for smooth shoots.
- Keep the studio organized and ready for production at all times.
- Post-Production Oversight
- Give editors clear direction and reference materials.
- Review and refine edits with a focus on hooks, pacing, storytelling, and calls to action.
- Optimize content for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Workflow and Asset Management
- Maintain organized folder structures, naming conventions, and backup systems.
- Manage footage libraries for easy access and reuse.
- Track deliverables and ensure deadlines are met accurately.
- Client Experience
- Conduct studio sessions with professionalism and confidence.
- Guide clients on scriptwriting, delivery, and on-camera presence.
- Deliver a seamless and high-quality in-studio experience.
- Performance-Driven Content
- Understand what drives content conversion, including hooks, retention, and engagement.
- Work with the marketing team to improve creative performance.
- Propose new formats, trends, and creative ideas.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in videography or content production, preferably in an agency or brand environment.
- Strong understanding of paid social creatives and user-generated content styles.
- Proven skill in directing non-professional talent.
- Technical expertise in camera operation, lighting, audio, and studio setups.
- Attention to detail in visuals and workflow processes.
- Ability to balance creative vision with operational demands.
Basic Editing Skills
- Proficient in basic editing for quick project turnarounds.
- Comfortable shooting in multiple formats, including Reels, TikTok, and YouTube.
