As a result of our ongoing growth and expansion, Sunlight Group is excited to offer a remarkable opportunity for professional advancement and is looking for an IFRS Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team at the Sunlight office in Athens. In this role, you will contribute to the preparation of Financial Reporting Packages and assist in the consolidation of the Group's financial statements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking part in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidation process by collecting financial data from various business units and subsidiaries, reviewing financial statements, and aiding in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards, including Greek GAAP and IFRS.
- Preparing reconciliations and eliminating all intercompany transactions.
- Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and related financial metrics for senior management, while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and accounting policies.
- Engaging in comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and performance indicators.
- Supporting the establishment and maintenance of effective accounting policies and procedures within the group to guarantee the integrity and reliability of financial reporting while identifying and addressing risks associated with the consolidation and reporting process.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial information to facilitate decision-making for senior management.
- Providing guidelines to subsidiary controllers on utilizing and navigating consolidation tools (both Excel and other software).
