Role Overview: HVAC & Plumbing Engineer

This position joins a respected HVAC & Plumbing engineering team based in Portland, ME. The group delivers mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing engineering services across a variety of projects. The engineer will work on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, odor control, and plumbing systems for clients in industrial, water, wastewater, municipal, design-build, and plant operations sectors, both regionally and across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand HVAC and plumbing requirements.
  • Prepare engineering reports, studies, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Oversee construction phases, including shop drawing reviews and contractor oversight.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.

Projects will range in complexity. While the role encourages independent development, experienced engineers are available for collaboration, support, and mentorship.
