About the HR Intern Role
The Human Resources Intern supports daily HR operations from Rapsodo’s Singapore office. This role focuses on recruitment and managing the employee lifecycle, requiring careful attention to detail, strong coordination, and consistent follow-through. Handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion is essential. After receiving direction, the intern is expected to work reliably and independently.
What You Will Do
HR Operations and Recruitment
- Keep candidate records accurate and current in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Monitor interview progress and follow up with stakeholders to keep hiring on track.
- Arrange interview schedules and logistics for candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicate with hiring managers about interview feedback and any pending actions.
Process and Data Management
- Ensure HR data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Track key HR metrics, including headcount, new hires, departures, and status changes.
- Maintain up-to-date trackers for recruitment, onboarding, and other HR processes.
- Prepare weekly summaries, such as updates on the hiring pipeline.
- Help map and document HR workflows.
- Identify process improvements and suggest practical solutions.
- Meet deadlines to prevent delays in hiring and support a positive employee experience.
Coordination and Execution
- Work with IT and other departments to support new hire onboarding.
- Follow up on outstanding documents, approvals, or actions with relevant parties.
- Coordinate tasks across teams and time zones, including Singapore, the US, and Japan.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate contacts when needed.
