EquipmentShare is on the lookout for a Corporate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our corporate office in Columbia, MO. This dynamic role supports our expanding team in a hybrid work environment, requiring occasional travel to the office.

As an HRBP, you will collaborate closely with corporate leaders to understand the specific needs of stakeholders, shaping a Corporate HR organization that is responsive to business demands and poised for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: You will assess the HRBP requirements for the corporate team, implement standard operating procedures, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and cultivate a feedback-friendly environment for career development. Your role will embody best practices in partnership and coaching for business leaders.

  • Stakeholder Management: Building trust with stakeholders is essential for success in this position. Given that the HRBP function is relatively new at EquipmentShare, your role will involve guiding leaders through the process of development. Listening, teaching, coaching, and clarifying roles and responsibilities across different stakeholder groups will be crucial.

  • People-Centric Strategy: You will create a tailored HR model that reflects EquipmentShare’s unique culture rather than duplicating practices from other organizations. As a subject matter expert and strategic partner, you'll advocate for our people, ensuring that our global talent strategies prioritize a 'people first' approach.

  • Talent and Performance Management: You will contribute to the foundation of talent management processes, including manager development, talent reviews, promotion processes, and succession planning. Your guidance will be vital for performance management disciplines, ensuring accountability throughout the employee lifecycle at EquipmentShare.
