Role overview The Head of UK Development at HTB is responsible for increasing annual financial support from UK donors to advance Alpha’s global mission. This position develops and implements a sustainable fundraising strategy that covers major, mid-level, and base giving, ensuring a steady flow of income for the organization. Key responsibilities Develop and lead Alpha International’s fundraising strategy and annual plans for the UK. Expand the UK major donor program, focusing on securing multi-year commitments. Manage a portfolio of major donors, each giving £10,000 or more per year. Identify and engage new major donors through networking, referrals, and introductions from peers. Support and guide team members working on mid-level and base giving initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership to build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and organizations. Organize and deliver donor events in the UK, including the donor experience at the Leadership Conference. Coordinate donor engagement with the HTB Group Fundraising Committee. Join the Revitalise Trust as a Trust Fundraising Manager, a key role that collaborates closely with the Head of UK Fundraising and other teams to secure vital funding, cultivate relationships with supporters, and enhance our fundraising systems and processes.In this position, you will oversee a portfolio of current donors while establishing connections with new supporters.
