About the PositionWe are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our finance team, reporting directly to the Deputy Financial Controller. Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of four (including two Senior Management Accountants and two Management Accountants), fostering their growth and overseeing their daily activities.- Manage the period-end timetable to ensure seamless operation of management accounting processes and adherence to deadlines.- Review and scrutinize journals in accordance with DE GAAP and FRS102, including fixed and variable rent, revenue, operating costs, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.- Collaborate with the Commercial Finance and FP&A teams to analyze period-end results, address inquiries, and oversee final adjustments.- Ensure thorough balance sheet reconciliations are conducted, understood, and reviewed monthly, with timely resolution of any queries.- Maintain a log of risks and opportunities, keeping the Financial Controller and Head of Financial Reporting updated on developments.- Oversee the revenue share process, including audits and council submissions.- Coordinate with internal and external auditors throughout various audit cycles.- Contribute to the design and implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring all procedures are documented and compliant.
