We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Charlotte, NC. We want a motivated individual ready to grow with us, bringing enthusiasm and commitment to their role. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of an extensive range of customer and company-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts, contributing to the future of construction. You'll have the unique opportunity to work with the latest fleet in the industry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay available after 40 hours. This position may also involve on-call duties with additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Field Technician, you will leverage our technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues more rapidly by accessing data across multiple equipment makes and models. With real-time information at your disposal, you can swiftly identify the root cause and appropriate corrective actions, allowing you to work smarter, not harder.

  • Adhere to safe job practices while repairing equipment

  • Comfortably utilize technology (laptops and tablets)

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across various rental and customer equipment while exercising a high degree of independent judgment

  • Assist in training junior technicians as needed

  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance
