Topline Pro is seeking its first Head of Finance to build and lead the finance function during a period of rapid growth following Series B funding. Based in Brooklyn, NY and reporting directly to the CEO, this role will shape financial strategy and operations at a company focused on AI-driven products with strong revenue and unit economics.
The Head of Finance will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team, influencing capital strategy, developing financial systems, and tracking the metrics that guide key decisions. This is a hands-on leadership position with broad impact across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Build and Oversee the Finance Function
- Direct all aspects of finance: FP&A, accounting, payroll, treasury, tax, and compliance (in collaboration with outsourced accounting partners).
- Select and implement financial systems to support growth and reporting needs.
Lead FP&A and Financial Modeling
- Manage the company’s financial model, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
- Work with the Data team to analyze SaaS and unit economics metrics.
- Partner with go-to-market leadership on revenue forecasting, sales capacity planning, and compensation structure.
- Collaborate with the Product team on pricing, packaging, and unit economics.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes, variance analysis, and operational reviews.
Manage Embedded Payments Economics
- Oversee the financial performance of the embedded payments business, including modeling take rate, processor economics, attach rate, and contribution margin as payment volume increases.
- Develop reporting and risk management strategies to support secure growth in payments.
Support Capital Strategy and Board Reporting
- Lead financial preparation for future fundraising: data room setup, modeling, and due diligence responses.
- Prepare board materials, including financial statements, KPIs, operational commentary, and narrative.
Drive Operational Efficiency
- Oversee cash management, runway planning, and capital allocation.
