About Obvio AI
Every year, over 7,500 pedestrians lose their lives due to traffic accidents in the U. S., a troubling figure that has surged by 70% in the last decade. While awareness has grown, cities continue to face challenges in preventing dangerous driving, and Vision Zero initiatives are struggling to meet their goals.
At Obvio AI, we are on a mission to revolutionize pedestrian safety.
We utilize solar-powered, AI-enhanced cameras to enforce traffic regulations in the areas where pedestrians are most at risk, automating enforcement in ways that traditional systems cannot. Our innovative approach has significantly reduced reckless driving, fostering a safer environment for pedestrians, drivers, and law enforcement.
Founded by the creators of Motive’s AI dashcam, Obvio AI is supported by Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures. Recently, we secured $22 million in Series A funding and are collaborating with some of the most progressive cities nationwide. With robust revenue, a vast market potential, and strong policy backing, we are building a crucial intelligence layer for safer streets worldwide.
