Requirements:0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role within the technology sector. Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related fields preferred. Familiarity with security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management practices. Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information effectively. Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to evaluate complex situations and multitask. Proficient in utilizing security technology and software applications related to monitoring and reporting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Control Risks is seeking a committed GSOC Analyst to join our esteemed security team. The Operator will play a vital role in protecting our client's assets by functioning within a dynamic 24/7/365 security operations center. This position involves continuous monitoring and analysis of security systems to ensure the safety of personnel, facilities, and operations.

This position will cover a 24/7/365 schedule, working 4 days on with 12-hour shifts, followed by 4 days off. The role specifically covers the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global security communications, overseeing responses to security alerts and incidents.
  • Monitor a range of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems to quickly identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Conduct real-time evaluations of incidents and coordinate appropriate responses with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thoroughly document all incidents, including actions taken and outcomes, for future reference and analysis.
  • Support the implementation of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership to ensure a secure environment.
  • Assist in the creation of security reports and intelligence products that enhance decision-making processes.
  • Provide detailed travel security tracking for personnel and aid in crisis management and response.
  • Participate in regular training to maintain knowledge of current security trends, technologies, and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to refine security processes and improve incident response strategies.
