Qualifications

0-2 years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or a similar role within the technology sector. Bachelor's degree in History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related fields is preferred. Proficient understanding of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management. Demonstrated ability to perform well in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present information. Strong analytical skills, capable of assessing complex situations and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with security technology and software applications related to monitoring and reporting. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Control Risks is actively seeking a committed GSOC Analyst to enhance our esteemed security team. As a vital member of our 24/7/365 security operations center, you will play a significant role in protecting our client's assets. This position requires monitoring and analyzing security systems to ensure the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and operations.

This role operates on a 4x12 shift schedule, covering day shifts, where you will work 4 consecutive days of 12-hour shifts followed by 4 days off.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for global security communications, effectively managing security alerts and incident responses.
  • Monitor a range of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems to quickly identify and respond to potential threats.
  • Conduct real-time assessments of incidents, coordinating appropriate responses with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Thoroughly document all incidents, including actions taken and outcomes, for future reference and analysis.
  • Support the implementation of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership to maintain a secure environment.
  • Assist in the creation of security reports and intelligence products that inform decision-making processes.
  • Provide comprehensive travel security tracking for personnel and assist in crisis management and response.
  • Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on security trends, technologies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security processes and enhance incident response strategies.
