At Base.com, we are seeking a talented professional to fill a pivotal role in our financial structure as a Group Financial Controller.
This position is ideal for an experienced practitioner who will merge strategic oversight of the Group's finances with operational execution. We need someone who has a robust understanding of financial data and can translate accounting records into reliable management information for the Board.
You will own the reporting processes, not only overseeing the parent company but also providing comprehensive controlling oversight for our international entities.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation of the monthly profit and loss statement (P&L), balance sheet, and cash flow statement for the Group.
- Creation of reports for investors/funds.
- Analysis of budget variances, explanation of discrepancies, and verification of the accuracy of analytical data.
- Collaboration with the accounting department to ensure consistency between system data and management reports.
- Coordination of information and document flow between international subsidiaries and the headquarters in Poland.
- Monitoring costs and expenditures in subsidiary companies (budget discipline control).
- Participation in the consolidation of the Group's financial results.
Our Requirements
- Strong analytical skills; a hands-on individual who isn't afraid of operational work.
