About the role
THE POSITION:
The Group Copy Supervisor (GCS) plays a pivotal role within our creative team, taking complete ownership of concept and copy development for a diverse range of projects across our portfolio. The GCS is adept at multitasking and delegating responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of projects of varying complexity. In addition to generating innovative ideas, the GCS acts as a key liaison between the creative team and senior account members, ensuring that all work aligns with strategic, business, and creative objectives. This role demands exceptional presentation skills as the GCS frequently presents and advocates for work to external stakeholders. Moreover, the GCS is committed to nurturing the professional growth of the copy team through mentorship and support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively contribute to the creative team, overseeing concept and copy development across various projects.
Effectively multitask and delegate responsibilities to ensure seamless project management.
Generate creative ideas while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Serve as a liaison between the creative team and senior account members to ensure alignment with strategic and business goals.
Deliver impactful presentations and effectively advocate for creative work to external parties.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the full copy team to facilitate their professional development.
Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing personal development and modeling inclusive behaviors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
Travel: Some travel may be required for client meetings and off-site engagements.
Hours: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with potential overtime and weekend hours to meet project deadlines.
