Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily bank and credit card reconciliations. Prepare month-end routine entries, including posting accruals and prepayments. Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset registers, including motor fleet management. Post and reconcile intercompany transactions monthly. Analyze performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and management commentary. Prepare bi-monthly and quarterly VAT returns for ROI and NI companies, respectively. Compile monthly VIEs and Intrastat returns. Assist in the group audit process. Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures. Contribute to continuous process improvements. Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess a Level 8 NFQ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. You should be part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or IATI, with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience preferred. Proficiency in integrated accounts packages and Microsoft applications, especially Excel, is essential. Experience with Microsoft ERP systems will be a significant advantage.
