Job Summary
As a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer within the Applied AI team at Graphcore, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing AI technology through the development and optimization of AI models specifically designed for our cutting-edge hardware. Collaborating closely with the Software Development and Research teams, you will be instrumental in discovering opportunities for innovation and differentiation in Graphcore’s technology. This position is ideal for someone passionate about hands-on model work, possessing a robust foundation in machine learning principles, and eager to advance AI performance in practical systems.
The Team
The Applied AI team is dedicated to comprehending the latest AI models, applications, and software to ensure seamless integration with the AI ecosystem. Our responsibilities include building reference applications, enhancing key software libraries (e.g., optimizing kernels for efficiency on our hardware), and collaborating with the Research team to develop and publish groundbreaking ideas in areas such as efficient computing, model scaling, and distributed training and inference of AI models across various modalities and applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models and optimize them for performance and accuracy, scaling effectively to thousands of accelerators.
