Requirements:U. S. citizenship and one of the following:A) High school diploma or GED with 20 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis, ORB) Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis, ORC) Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience in Surface Radars, Electronic Warfare, EO/IR, Decoys, and/or Laser acquisition or program analysis. Desired Qualifications:Strong understanding of Navy/DoD policy and guidance. Experience in developing and reviewing Acquisition Strategies/Plans. Familiarity with Milestone and Gate preparation. Experience in reviewing Procurement Requests. Personnel Clearance Level:Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

About the job

Sigma Defense Systems is hiring a Government Program Acquisition Analyst in Washington, DC to support U. S. Navy Above Water Sensors and Lasers programs. The role covers programmatic, analytical, and technical acquisition support throughout the entire program lifecycle, including Pre-Systems Acquisition, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production, and Sustainment phases.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Government Program Managers, Deputy PMs, PAPMs, Technical Directors, and integrated teams to drive program objectives.
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and data analysis for a range of program activities.
  • Prepare and review acquisition documentation, ensuring programs are ready for key milestones.
  • Support contracting processes and contribute to program reporting requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with NAVSEA, DoW 5000 series, JCIDS, and related acquisition frameworks.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Any offer will be finalized once the contract is confirmed.
