Responsibilities
- Foster Relationships: Engage in presenting, demonstrating, and supporting the sale of Esri software and solutions as an integral part of the account team. Collaborate with your team to strategize and implement effective sales initiatives.
- Become an Authority: Develop deep expertise in state and local government operations and technical mastery of ArcGIS. Confidently converse with clients about Esri technologies while effectively conveying the Esri message. Anticipate customer needs and potential technological shifts that may affect them.
- Tackle Challenges: Proactively design and propose solutions that elucidate how GIS delivers business value by addressing critical customer challenges. Formulate and execute strategies that align Esri technology with client business objectives.
- Share Our Narrative: Conduct technical presentations of proposed solutions tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences. Offer best practices related to the deployment and management of Esri technology and represent the company at conferences and trade shows.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Esri technology, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration.
- 1+ years of experience in or supporting state or local government.
- Comprehensive understanding of ArcGIS within an IT framework (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
- Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design, alongside a grasp of sales and business development processes.
- Familiarity with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud computing principles and environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
