Are you a talented and driven Generator Technician eager to advance your career in the dynamic Telecom industry? If so, Pearce Services has the perfect opportunity for you! Our Generator Technicians are responsible for servicing and repairing commercial generators located on cell phone towers in your area. This role is ideal for independent self-starters who are open to travel and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain generators by diagnosing and repairing issues, installing or replacing components, and performing routine maintenance or upgrades on seasonal equipment.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure generators are properly operational, utilizing blueprints or design specifications to install or repair hardware.
- Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls, ensuring all components function correctly.
- Respond promptly to generator alarms and be available for 24/7 on-call duties as necessary, communicating effectively via phone and email.
- Work safely, being aware of potential hazards associated with power supply equipment installation and maintenance, including falls, electrical hazards, and traffic. Adhere to safety protocols and participate in designated safety training sessions.
