The General Manager at LPC Property Management in Austin, TX leads a team overseeing the operational and financial performance of large, high-profile, and complex properties or a portfolio of assets. This position provides direction to Property Managers and Senior Property Managers, emphasizing consistent quality across all areas of property management.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead the team in addressing tenant needs, ensuring both administrative and technical staff resolve issues promptly and in line with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the review and approval of vendor invoices, confirming they comply with management agreements and LPC policies.
  • Manage rent and charge collections, provide proactive accounts receivable reports to clients, and prepare legal notices when needed.
  • Direct the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly reports that meet client and company standards.
  • Guide the development of annual operating and capital expense budgets, aligning with client and company expectations.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges according to client specifications.
  • Coordinate lease administration by collaborating with accounting and lease administration teams to maintain financial performance and asset value oversight.
  • Oversee tenant onboarding, ensuring vacant spaces are ready for tours and that transitions for new tenants proceed smoothly.
  • Establish and maintain a strong tenant care program to support tenant retention.
  • Direct procurement activities to enhance property operations and service delivery.
